Diversity at Redfin
This council makes our commitment to diversity and inclusion more visible and concrete for employees. They help drive efforts to foster a culture of inclusion, to recruit and promote the broadest range of candidates, and to ensure that diversity and inclusion are central to our customer experience.
All Redfin employees complete an unconscious bias training. This training identifies common biases and stereotypes that can influence hiring decisions and customer interactions, and provides strategies to mitigate them.

Diversity in Tech
We're committed to hiring candidates and interns from nontraditional sources, and holding managers accountable for inclusive culture within their teams. As we make progress on these initiatives in our product and engineering teams, we'll extend what we learn across the company.
Women in Tech
We've worked hard to recruit more women in research and development (R&D), a department which includes software developers, product managers, operations engineers, and quality assurance engineers. The appointment of Bridget Frey as Chief Technical Officer in 2015 served as a major impetus for change. Today, R&D is more than 30% women.
A passionate group of employees founded our Women in Tech group, with a focus on developing and retaining women at Redfin. Women in Tech empowers employees to lead events and discussions that help make Redfin a more inclusive place to work. Recruiting Underrepresented Minorities
We're building a strong recruiting pipeline with organizations and coding academies that focus on underrepresented minorities, including women, Latinx, Black, and LGBTQ individuals.
